Symonics GmbH
Symonics GmbH develops and operates innovative and customized communication solutions. Symonics was founded in 2012. It is a spin-off of the Eberhardt Karls University of TĂŒbingen.
Our leading expertise is based on the development of the award-winning web communication services and the standardization of the audio codec Opus. Opus is now used worldwide in smartphones and all WebRTC-enabled web browsers.
Dr.-Ing. Christian Hoene
Christian Hoene is founder and director of Symonics GmbH. He has a passion for high-quality communication solutions. He built his first telephone switch at the age of 20. Since then, he has won numerous awards for his contributions to communication innovations.
In addition, he works on autonomous driving ensuring audio and video communicaiton to remote control the vehicles.
